Magnum Corporation Sendirian Berhad (“Magnum”), the gaming division of MPHB, was incorporated in December 1968 and was the first private company to be granted a licence to promote, operate and manage 4-digit numbers forecast betting in Malaysia.

Magnum was converted to a public company in October 1969 and was subsequently listed on Bursa Malaysia in May 1970. Following the completion of a privatisation exercise, Magnum was de-listed on 2 July 2008 and subsequently converted into a private company on 18 July 2008, and changed its name to the current "Magnum Corporation Sendirian Berhad". It is 51% owned by MPHB whilst the remaining 49% is held by CVC Asia Pacific Limited.
